Chip's rise to the top of the tournament poker world began in 1992, in Arizona. He was a working as a lifeguard at a
public pool when a co-worker suggested a trip to the newly opened Fort McDowell Casino poker room.
That trip opened Chip Jett's eyes to the unlimited possibilities that casino poker could provide.
In 2001, he got his first taste of stardom when he won the Best All Around Player award at the L.A. Poker Classic at
Commerce Casino as a virtual unknown.
Three years later Chip Jett had a dozen major victories under his belt and was honoured with one of the most important
awards in the industry.
